Dear FLE 304 members,
Choose 2 writing presentations of your peers. Please comment on the successful aspects of the reading presentations of your peers that you have observed and the aspects that need to be improved.Also evaluate the presentations in terms of the following aspects: the aim of the lesson, the level of active student participation in the lesson, the clarity of the stages, the use of audio/visual aids, the interest level of students, the pacing of the material, the variety of pair/group/individual activities, the clarity of instructions, and the presenters' use of English, the presenters' oral performance in English and their presentation skills.

The applicability of wikis to the EFL context

Please watch the video on Wikis in this blog and comment on the applicability of the use of wikis to the EFL context in order to develop students' writing skills. In what ways do you think it can contribute to the writing skill development of students? Please comment on potential challenges in incorporating a wiki in an EFL setting as well.
Also you need to find a sample wiki that is used in EFL /ESL teaching online, give the link and comment on how it is used and in what ways it contributes to the student learning.

Assignment 1b

For this assignment, you need to do the following:
1. Find a video that best reflects the approach that you would take in teaching EFLreading from an internet site (e.g., youtube or teacher tube or some other website).
2. Why and in what ways do you think this video displays a good example of your preferred methodology in teaching reading?
3.What do you think the teacher and students in the video could do to improve themselves/ as far as teaching EFL reading is concerned?
It is essential that you upload the video to the classblog. However, if it is impossible to upload it, please give the link to the video.

Assignment 1a

Think of your previous learning experiences concerning EFL reading, your memories of learning EFL reading at school and your past school experience in that respect.
